Our data suggest that salary information&nbsp;in&nbsp;ads is the exception rather than the norm&nbsp;in&nbsp;the public relations industry.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Why is salary transparency&nbsp;in&nbsp;job ads important?<\/strong>&nbsp;Being clear about the salary or salary range promotes pay equity and helps to level the playing field on pay gaps, and it also opens the door to a much wider talent pool. No salary info on the job ad is a dealbreaker for loads of people. If you&#8217;re setting out to be a diverse, inclusive and equitable employer, showing the salary should be a given.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. What is the We Show the Salary initiative?<\/strong>&nbsp;We Show the Salary is a not-for-profit, business-led campaign that\u2019s calling on employers to show salary info on 100% of their job ads. We want to drive a real social change on this issue, so that salary transparency becomes the norm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2363\" height=\"2363\" src=\"https:\/\/jobs-in-pr.co.uk\/jobs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Jobs-in-PR-Regular-Design-Assets_Quote-Card-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-259\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3.
